BSFOS to be broadcast via Power Wheels TV !
The PCRA is please to announce that for the first time historic bike racing will be broadcast on free to air television. In a recent deal with producers of the soon to be broadcast motoring show, Power Wheels TV HD CH44, Sundays' action will be made into a HD DVD. This will then form the basis for the show which will be aired on May the 15th ,22nd & 29th as well as periodically throughout 2010.
Power Wheels TV will be broadcast across the east coast of Australia will the potential to reach over 3 million viewers.
Jones XL Sponsors Premier 500 Classic
Jones XL, a highly regarded company providing professional security & safety management services, has come on board a a sponsor for the Premier 500 Classic at the 2010 Barry Sheene Festival of Speed. The Premier 500 classic is open to all Pre-1962 500 cc bikes and will be contested over 6 laps on Easter Sunday. Click here for full details.
Spectator Parade Laps
As part of the festivities on Easter Sunday, the PCRA have organised for a limited number of spectators to participate in a parade lap/s of the race circuit during the lunch interval. This offer is open to both riders & pillion passengers at no additional cost to the general entry fee for Sunday ($25). All riders must have a full road license with both rider & pillion wearing suitable protective gear. All participants must be registered by the 26th March, 2010. Spectator entry fees for the 2010 Barry Sheene Festival of Speed represent great value for money.!
Saturday is $20 per adult
Sunday is $25 per adult
Concession tickets $15 (either day)
Children under 13 are free.
Action starts at 9 am and continues until 4.30-5 pm both days
Show n Shine
For 2010 the Show & Shine will be run by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia on Easter Sunday & is included in the price of admission. Just park your bike in the designated Show & Shine area, complete a few details at the registration tent & you are in the running for a prize.
Past competitions have included Katanas, day to day commuters & classic collectables to exotic modern day bikes & race replicas. What better way to show off your pride and joy by displaying it in the Sunday Show & Shine competition.
Show & Shine competition begins at 9am with final judging & presentations during lunchtime interval.
